Our international finance team plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our business across multiple markets.

We are looking for a Senior Finance & Controls Specialist to join our international finance team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong financial operations expertise with a passion for improving processes, strengthening controls, and supporting treasury activities in a multi-country environment.

Job Summary

As Senior Finance & Controls Specialist, you will support the international finance function with a focus on payment execution, treasury support, and financial control processes across the business.

You will work closely with the Accounting and Treasury teams to ensure that payments, intercompany settlements, and cross-border transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strengthening of financial governance and operational efficiency across our international operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute international payments, including vendor payments, intercompany settlements, and cross-border transactions across multiple currencies.

• Maintain and strenghten internal financial controls related to payments, treasury operations, and finance processes.

• Work closely with Accounting and Treasury teams to ensure payments are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies.

• Support internal and external audits related to treasury activities, payment processes, and financial controls.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies, including supporting automation initiatives and documenting financial workflows.

• Prepare reports and KPIs related to payments and financial controls to support operational improvement.

• Contribute to finance projects and other improvement initiatives across the international business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as CPA, CA, RA, or ACCA.

• 5 - 8 years of experience in finance operations, treasury, financial controlling, or a similar role within an international organization.

• Experience working with international payments and multi-currency environments.

• Solid understanding of financial controls, governance, and payment authorization processes.

• Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial/accounting systems.

• Fluent in English.
