Operations and Facilities Coordinator - Hong Kong
The Operations and Facilities Coordinator - Hong Kong is a junior position responsible for providing essential technical, operational, and compliance support to all corporate stores within Five Guys Operations International (FGOI) in the Hong Kong market. This role focuses on ensuring the continuous functionality, safety, and full regulatory compliance of all store facilities. The Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing all active and reactive maintenance, managing third-party vendors, overseeing licensing as the Authorized Person (A.P.), and supporting General Managers to achieve operational excellence. This role requires flexibility to meet business demands, including support during evenings and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact and contract responsible for all third-party vendors (e.g., utility, waste management, laundry, uniform providers)
• Establish and maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for the Hong Kong market to ensure asset longevity and efficiency
• Serve as the designated Authorized Person (A.P.), responsible for overseeing and managing all legal compliance, licensing, and permitting processes for Food and Beverage (F&B) and Food-Grade Operations (FGO) stores within HK
• Plan and coordinate upcoming renovations and maintenance projects within the Refresh program, acting as the intermediary between construction teams and store operations

• Provide support, coaching, and mentorship to General Managers to achieve operational excellence and efficiency, including support for New Store Opening (NSO) success
• Handle administrative tasks, including the communication and detailed reporting of all external third-party service and utility vendor performance
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to support critical business demands, store openings, and maintenance execution during evenings and weekends
• Responsible for following and promoting all company policies and brand standards

Education/Experience:
• 4 year college Degree preferred
• 3+ years of multi-unit food service experience with a similar scope of responsibilities. Equivalent life experience will be considered
Language Ability:
This position requires excellent written, verbal and group communication skills. This position also requires the ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents. This individual must have the ability to communicate in Chinese and English.
Math Ability:
This position requires excellent business math skills.
Reasoning Ability:
The position requires pragmatic analyzing skills and problem-solving abilities.
Computer Skills:
Exceptional computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, with focus on Excel and other appropriate software such as R&M portals and systems CFMM platforms

Physical Demands:
This position may require long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. There may also be extensive lifting of supplies and materials. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required. Travel will be required 30% of time within Hong Kong.
