Operations Support Manager - Hong Kong
The Operations Support Manager - Hong Kong is responsible for supporting stores within Five Guys Operations in Hong Kong. This position is responsible for demonstrating and providing in-depth store operational knowledge and coaching of Five Guys restaurant operations and standards to Restaurant Managers. This position will be responsible for setting up and supporting all stores in accordance with the appropriate legislative requirements, including acting as the Authorized Person (A.P.) for our operations in Hong Kong, overseeing and managing all legal compliance, licensing, and permitting processes for our Food and Beverage (F&B) and/or Food-Grade Operations (FGO) stores within Hong Kong.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining brand standards at all Corporate store operations
• Visits stores for R&M needs, drop off signage and articles, remove broken items
• Attends meetings with RM or AGM’s and provides input on projects
• Assists Restaurant Managers and FGO International in operating profitable businesses
• Translates documents from Chinese to English for store and operations department
• Stays current with negotiations on utility contracts and waste management services
• Point person for purchase and distribution of small-wares for stores
• Responsible for following and promoting all company policies
• Demonstrates in-depth operational knowledge and trains others in Department Training in Operations in Five Guys
• Demonstrates a passion for restaurant operations and the Five Guys Brand. Contributes to the overall improvement of the FGO International team as well as individual team members. Conducts and presents self with poise, integrity and professionalism
• Provides leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and a commitment to company objectives. Creates atmosphere of “Esprit de Corps”
• Supports by conducting interviews and having meetings with municipalities
• Plan and execute R&M proactive and reactive works and setting up R&M plans and budgets

Education/Experience:
• 4 year college Degree preferred
• 3+ years of multi-unit food service experience with a similar scope of responsibilities. Equivalent life experience will be considered.
Language Ability:
This position requires excellent written, verbal and group communication skills. This position also requires the ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents. This individual must have the ability to communicate in Chinese and English.
Math Ability:
This position requires excellent business math skills.
Reasoning Ability:
The position requires pragmatic analyzing skills and problem-solving abilities.
Computer Skills:
Exceptional computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, with focus on Excel and other appropriate software such as R&M portals and systems CFMM platforms

Physical Demands:
This position may require long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. There may also be extensive lifting of supplies and materials. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required. Travel will be required 30% of time within Hong Kong.
